HENRI found his perfect home during The Canine Country Camp with one of our favorite campers who was ready to add another Border Collie and had an inkling her first choice would be Henri. She met a couple of the dogs here and within short order, it was clear her instinct was right...he was THE one for her and her gang! Henri will be doing lots of agility and even going to another Dog Camp this summer, learning tons of fun stuff. We're thrilled for Henri cause he can finally use that agile nature of his and put it to good use, rather than jumping over every fence at the farm, going paddock to paddock all day! We'll miss sweet Henri but now he'll be outstanding in agility and totally adored! He now lives in North Carolina and we hope to see him next summer at camp.

HENRI: A 11 month old Border Collie, Henri is a classic young Border Collie with lots of drive and the need to use his mind and body. He thrives on challenges and enjoys the connection with a person to learn new things. Henri is very energetic and has herding instincts that could be channeled into sports or toys. Henri is incredibly agile and can monkey-up and over our 5 foot fence easily, a great candidate for agility but will need an invisible fence system for safe containment. He is very smart and also incredibly sweet with everyone he meets. Henri loves people and is happiest with lots of affection and lots of activity. He is good with other dogs and cats. Henri was abandoned at a shelter due to a lifestyle change and fortunately the shelter contacted us for help. He came from PA. 

DUNCAN found his perfect friend with another Border Collie, Jazzy (aka Joy) adopted not too long ago from the Farm. As soon as they met, they began playing with tails wagging and clearly a great pair of friends. In fact, out of all the dogs Jazzy met, she picked Duncan as her favorite! His new furMom loves the breed and is thrilled to have a second to enjoy. Duncan hopped right into the car next to Jazzy and headed out to his new life in MA.

DUNCAN: A 5 month old Border Collie, Duncan is focused, observes everything and full of energy. He is very sweet and good natured but  also like every young BC, he needs stimulation mentally and physically. He is a loving boy who enjoys  people and could easily excel in sports. He already knows various  obedience commands. He is a bit taller than some BC's at five months. He and his sister, Izzy, came from working  lineage so we are currently assessing their herding tendencies to see  if they might also work. Both were saved from being breeder dogs in  an Amish breeding business, by a dog lover who stepped in when they  were being sold at 3 months old and paid full price to the original  breeder. A wonderful person, she loved these two dearly, cared for them  perfectly but knew that they were more than she herself could add to  her life. We are thankful for what she did and happy to be of help  finding them new homes. They came from PA. They will placed  separately into new homes.

BECKE found his forever home and this time, it is surely the perfect place for him. He will enjoy the love and attention from his new guardians as well as get to do agility with his new FurMom. She came to find a special canine friend and was pretty sure it was going to be Becke, just from seeing him on the site. When they met in person, he loved belly rubs and cuddling plus plenty of tug games, a perfect pair. Becke will enjoy life on 30 acres, hiking each day and learning how to put his agile body and brilliant mind into one focus of agility! He now lives in upstate NY.

BECKE: A 1 1/2 year old Border Collie, Becke is all about play. He is super smart and ready to go, go, go. Becke is very responsive to learning and eager to bond with someone who understands him. He's also quite the cuddler and loves a good belly rub. He is very athletic and agile and will play endlessly with toys, like any young Border Collie. He is great with other dogs and good with cats and is also trained on the invisible fence. Becke was given up due to a mismatch with the older Border Collie who couldn't handle the play style of a young BC. Becke came from PA.

COLBEE found the perfect home with another dog who loves to play just like she does...they quickly found their rhythm making up their own doggie play games and enjoying each other, absolutely a wonderful pair. Colbee will have tons of love, lots of toy play and have a wonderful canine companion, too. She now lives in upstate NY.

COLBEE: A 7 year old Border Collie, Colbee is a friendly, good natured, happy girl. She likes to meet everyone and enjoys lots of attention, quite the wiggle-butt. She is easy going and adapts well to new situations. Colbee is learning to enjoy other dogs since she was a solo dog and she is having a great time playing and racing and chasing, being free to run with them. She is very obedient and eager to please. She is fine with cats. Colbee had been on a runner when outside and alone for 10 hours a day inside which is why she was relinquished to the Farm. Her guardian had taken Colbee in when her daughter could no longer keep her but felt she deserved a better life. She came to us from upstate NY. 

LADDIE & BUDDEY found a new life together! Their new guardian felt they could both be wonderful friends to her dog, Missy, who is 13 years old and always lived with a Border Collie. She wanted to meet them both and while not sure adopting two was right, as soon as she met them, she was certain these three would be the perfect trio and that they were - happily hanging together with her in the adoption cabin and enjoying the great outdoors, sitting right by her side. These three will enjoy a lifetime of love and even their own swimming pool out back where they can cool off this summer! Laddie & Buddey now live in NY.

BUDDEY: An 8 year old Border Collie, Buddey is a wonderful, good natured, interesting dog. He has the classic personality of a mature BC who thinks everything through and then decides what he wants to do. He will take his time in dog greetings, then once content that the other dog understands him, begin to play. Buddey does the same thing with people...once he knows you, he loves you. Buddey is very easy going and relaxed, happy to play and also happy to be by your side. He is very very affectionate, too with a comical nature. He is quite the talker and will actually give a few barks to get your attention, the proceed to talk to you more if you encourage him. He also jumps up and down in glee when you're having a conversation! Buddey is about 55 pounds, a bit overweight now and not yet tested on cats. He was given up, along with two other dogs in the home, due to a move. He came to the Farm from PA.

TAM won the heart of one of our campers at The Canine Country Camp when she knew she wanted to help a senior dog and there he was! She was thrilled to see his enthusiasm to play ball, race and chase and fit in just fine with her two younger duo...they make a superb trio and he'll have a blast joining in all the activities! Tam now lives in PA.

TAM: A 10 year old Border Collie, Tam is marvelous, absolutely wonderful. He is agile, focused and fun, playing ball as much as you like or happy to race around the Farm exploring. He is great with other dogs but also likes being the solo special dog. A super responsive boy, he comes to the whistle, is totally obedience trained and enjoys riding in the car or going wherever his person is going. Tam is remarkable, a true example of how this athletic breed can stay healthy way into their mature years....he is more like a 4 year old, he is in such great shape with so much energy. He will again be a fabulous companion to a very lucky person who comes to adopt him. He is good with cats. Tam was a cherished member of his previous family but relinquished from CT to the Farm due to a lifestyle change. 

SOPHIE found the perfect home for her with two kids who love to play and will be her companions day in and day out and a family that understands Border Collies and loves all their energy. She won their hearts on the site when the daughter fell in love and checked each day to make sure she was still at the Farm, anticipating the day she would meet her. A number of weeks rolled by before they could organize a visit so when the whole family came to meet Sophie, that was it! And off she went to her new life in CT where she'll be cherished and have tons of fun!

SOPHIE: A 2 1/2 year old Border Collie, Sophie is a delightful people oriented girl who loves to play with toys. She is crazy for squeaky toys or any ball but she isn't overly frantic like younger BC's, instead she loves to play and then can relax a bit. Sophie is very affectionate and loves to be the center of attention so while she is good with other dogs, she could also easily be a solo dog. Sophie is smart, focused and ready to play or go wherever her person is going. She also loves to swim and play in the water. Sophie is good with cats and about 40 pounds. She was relinquished to the Farm from her NJ guardian who had to be away 12 hours a day for work and knew Sophie needed more.

LOUIE found his forever home with guardians who love BOrder Collies and were smitten by him and his story especially because they have horses and knew he'd love life at their farm. Louie will now have 175 acres to explore and help with the 30 horses each day. He'll be happily busy doing what Border Collies are bred to do - work!! and be loved. He now lives in upstate NY.

LOUIE is a 1 1/2 yr old border collie, with ABCA papers (but the previous owners cannot find them)  Loves everyone he meets, is fine with other dogs.   Is housebroken and knows many commands.  Settles easily.  He worked at a training/boarding horse stable, was responsible for moving the horses around the farm, 29 horses in all.  Is very smart, learns new things almost instantaneously.  Wants to please.  Is very loving and cuddly.  Since he was a working dog, he is just learning to play with toys but herding is his first love. He is also showing interest in agility and could be quite good in sports. He was given up when his owners had to sell the stables due to health reasons and move to a smaller home.  He was truly loved by his previous guardians who wanted more for him than what they can offer. He is being fostered in Pittsburgh PA.

MICKEY & DIAMOND found their forever home together! Their new guardians came to meet Mickey after hearing how special he was and knew they'd fall in love but they also wanted to meet some other dogs and once Diamond charmed them with her affection, these two happily found their new life together! They all had a chance to overnight at a nearby Inn so when they came back in the morning, there was no question that both Mickey and Diamond gave a loud woof of happiness and were clearly with 'their' people! They now live in NJ and will have their own horses to keep track of, as well as a life of fun and play!

MICKEY is a 3 year old Border Collie with ABCA papers.  Sweet and gentle Mickey has blossomed into a delightful companion in his foster home.  He loves games and has great enthusiasm for play with other dogs.  He has nice manners and knows some basic obedience.  He will retrieve a tennis ball and bring it back on cue, he is great off leash and has an excellent recall, enjoys rides in the car, walks well on a leash, is crate trained and is good with cats.  Mickey was surrendered to a vet's office.  He is being fostered in PA.

DAISIE found her forever home where she'll not only have her own pool for swimming which she loves, she'll also be the constant companion to her furMom, playing ball and frisbee and joining her day in and day out. Her new guardian was looking for a beloved Border Collie to adore and be her friend and she fell in love soon as she met Daisie. Daisie did her infamous belly rub please! request and won her heart so the fit was perfect, both happy to enjoy lots of affection. Daise went to her new life in upstate NY.

DAISIE: A 5 year old Border Collie, Daisie loves everyone  She is friendly, good natured and enjoys meeting new people. Daisie is smart as a whip and easily learns new things quickly and is eager to try anything. She is a classic Border Collie with lots of herding instinct and also a real love of people and attention. She is sweet and affectionate, rolling over for her favorite belly rub. She is good with kids and also cats and is approx 45 lbs. Daisy was relinquished to the Farm from a guardian in PA who had rescued her from a bad situation where she had been tied outside without food or water. The caring neighbor stepped in to help Daisie. She is being fostered in Pittsburgh PA and can be seen there or at the farm.

CONNOR found his forever home with another Border Collie adopted from the Farm so he'll have tons of fun trying agility and playing BC games. His new guardian was smitten by his good nature and focus and knew he'd fit perfectly in the canine family and be adored by both she and her husband. He'll get a chance to work his mind and share his love. Connor now lives in PA.

CONNOR: A petite 7 month old Border Collie, Connor is lively and all ready to go, go, go. He is also very very sweet and loves people, pretty much everyone he meets. Connor would be a great candidate for any sport as he learns really fast and is very athletic and sound. Connor loves action of any kind so really needs a home where he has something to do that will challenge him. While he loves to cuddle, he is no couch potato, instead he'd happily enjoy learning and he loves toys. He is about 35 pounds and good with cats. He loves to play with other dogs so would be a wonderful pal for another young BC. He was surrendered to a NY shelter for having too much energy. 

BUCA found her forever home with one of the teachers at the Canine Country Camp this summer. She met her, was intrigued and offered to foster her. After a short time trying agility and herding, she knew that Buca wasn't coming back to the Farm. Buca has another BC friend who will join her in all the activities. She will have a blast and a very very active life, living in NJ.

BUCA: A 2 year old Border Collie with ABCA papers, Buca is a very sweet girl, gentle with people and a bit shy at first but eager to be with you. She is also super fast and loves to run, run, run, circling other dogs or herding them as they play with toys. She is focused, fast and very agile. Buca is smart and would be a delight to teach new things and help build her confidence. She is good with other dogs and would be happy with another Border Collie companion. Buca is trained on the invisible fence. She is about 35 pounds and is good with cats. She was given up from guardians in PA who could not meet her needs. Buca is a bit camera shy so it is hard to capture her beautiful close up shot. Buca is in a foster home in NJ, learning agility,and herding.

LADY found her forever home with another dog from the Farm and two of our favorite Friends of the Farm. They were here again teaching in Camp Border Collie for Kids and fell in love with Lady. She'll have tons to do with her canine friends plus lots of ball play and be the center of attention. She clearly loved them as much as they did her. Lady now lives in CT.

LADY: A 3 year old Border Collie, Lady is a people-loving girl, a real cuddler who loves attention, especially belly rubs! She is very very smart and loves to play with any toy at anytime, super fast at retrieving. Lady is a great combination of gentle and sweet with high drive action! She is very eager to please and easy to train. She likes to play with other dogs but is also happy as the solo dog since that is what she's used to. She is ok with dog savvy cats. Lady is about 40 pounds, typical in size for the breed. Lady was a beloved family member, given up due to a move and health changes. She came from NY. Lady is being fostered in CT.

ELLY found her forever home as the constant companion to her new guardian who was longing for a furry friend again after loosing her beloved Border Collie. Once she met Elly, she was the dog she had been looking for! So, off Elly went to her new life in Delaware where she'll be loved, enjoy lots of play and be the dear friend that she wanted to be to a person who loves her, too.

ELLY: A 6 year old Border Collie, possibly mix, Elly is a sweet, good natured, wonderful sweet girl. She loves everyone and is super friendly, one of the easiest going dogs in rescue. Elly loves squeaky toys and will entertain herself when you're busy. She is also great with other dogs and clearly enjoys their company. She is about 40 pounds, and good with cats.  Elly was abandoned in a shelter in NY. 

CASEY found his best buddy, absolutely a perfect pair, both racing, chasing, wrestling and running, having a blast instantly. They were fast friends and a wonderful match together and the perfect canine friend for his new guardian who fell in love with him, too. Watching these two enjoy each other was fantastic to see! Casey will enjoy tons of play and a long life of herding fun, living in New Hampshire.

CASEY: An 8 month old Border Collie with ABCA papers, Casey is a friendly, confident boy who wants to be in the middle of the fun. He is a toy nut, happy to play tug endlessly and knows all his toys and his favorites, happy to bring them to you. He also loves ball play so needs an active home or another young BC to meet his needs since playing is his favorite thing to do! Casey is very smart and loves to learn. He is great with other dogs and races and chases and plays easily. He is about 50 pounds, and good with cats. He was too much for the NY family who had him since a pup so they relinquished him to the Farm. He is a very typical active young BC. 

LUCCI found the perfect home for him with a devoted Border Collie family that herds geese each day in their community. He'll be working with his new canine friend, teamed up to use all his herding instincts just like he was bred to do. Lucci is one of the best herders in rescue so will clearly be happy working and also being loved by a family that adores the breed. Since he also loves kids, his life will be full of fun and challenge! He now lives in MA.

LUCCI: A 1 1/2 year old Border Collie, Lucci is a love. He loves everyone he meets and is eager to be with other dogs, getting along great. He races and chases and herds other dogs, making up all kinds of games. Lucci enjoys the border collie style of play. He is a very soft, good natured dog who bonds very quickly. Lucci is full of energy, classic to a young BC. He is good with cats. He is about 40 pounds, typical in size for the breed. Lucci was in a home with cattle in PA, but he had no interest in herding cattle. He was living on a 4-foot chain. 

BUDD found his forever home winning the heart of his new guardian with all his intensity. A perfect match for his new canine friend, they can keep up with each other at full speed, turning on a dime, herding and playing. Budd happily hopped into the truck to head to his new life in CT where he'll have 10 acres to enjoy and plenty of trails and ponds for swimming. His new person is very active and happy to have two high energy friends to join him.

BUDD: A 2 1/2 year old Border Collie with ABCA papers, Budd is all action, ready to move, race and catch a ball instantly. He is very very smart, and very eager to interact on any task. He could excel at sports and would love having a close interactive relationship with a person. Budd is a true Border Collie who thinks through everything he does and makes sense of it all before he acts. He is super fast and agile and can literally turn on a dime, angling and chasing at high speed. He loves everyone he meets and fits in well instantly in new  situations. Budd is clearly the real deal and will go to a Border Collie savvy home. He is OK with dog savvy cats and is 40 pounds. He was relinquished directly to the Farm from a home in Delaware where they felt they could not meet his needs.

KC picked her family the minute she ran over all wags and licks and then raced out to get the ball and bring it back -she was thrilled to have her own little girl throwing for her and equally happy to shower everyone with affection. Watching KC find her new home was a wonderful moment to witness. KC will be cherished in her new life living in upstate NY.

KC: A 1 1/2 year old Border Collie mix, KC is all about fun. She loves people and instantly wants to play ball, quickly retrieving it for another throw. She is a very loving girl who is thrilled to be with you. She is great with other dogs and could easily live with them or could be a solo dog with someone who wanted a loving friend. KC is focused and smart and ready to play. She also loves walks and cuddling and also the water, playing in the kiddie pool endlessly. KC is a sweetheart who had lots of love since a pup because her former guardian fortunately rescued her from a drug house where someone was trying to give her away to anyone at a McDonald's parking lot. KC or Casey, was adored but her person felt she needed a more active life. KC is good with cats and about 35 pounds. She is recovering from a flea allergy so will have her gorgeous coat back shortly. She came from PA. 

CELT found his forever home with foster Mom who had time to see his talents and brilliance and felt he'd be the perfect addition to her family. Celt, now called Cian, will be racing across flyball hurdles as he competes in the sport as well as trying herding along with her own Border Collies who love to herd. We're thrilled for him and his new furMom who teaches each summer at our camp and next year will join us an official adopter! He now lives in PA.

CELT: A 1 yr old Border Collie, Celt is very focused and very fast, clearly a candidate for herding or sports. He is very very smart and will quickly learn with someone who understands the breed. Celt can be a bit timid at first so will need a savvy BC adopter but once the ball or toys are out, his herding instinct kicks in and he is all action. Celt is good natured and not chaotic in his energy level but will need a job to do, whether it be herding games with another Border Collie or more focused sports. He has grown up with his sister, Molee, so will be placed with another Border Collie, preferably a bit older and more confident. Celt is super responsive to people and wants to bond. He is about 30 pounds and is good with cats. He and his sister were given up by guardians in PA who had an accidental litter and were unable to find them homes. Celt is in a foster home in PA, learning flyball, agility and maybe even herding and can be seen at the Farm.

RAYE found his forever home with loving guardians who were charmed by Raye's incredible focused ball play as well as his wiggly cuddly good nature. They felt he would be perfect in their lives for tons of fun as well as being the florist shop dog meeting and greeting the public at their business. We are sure Raye will win over lots of people, especially if they throw the ball!! He now lives in upstate NY. Though camera shy for his final goodbye picture, he happily wagged his tail out to their car and hopped right in!

RAYE: A 3 year old Border Collie, Raye is a ball nut - he absolutely loves to play and play and play. He is a really good natured, happy guy, just full of joy, a delight to be with. With all this high energy, he is also super focused on the ball and would excel at flyball. He will chase high speed after any throw and quickly return to drop it at your feet, hoping for another good toss. Raye would be happiest with kids who love to play or a sport home though once inside, he will settle and unwind. He is also so sweet with everyone and eager to meet anyone nearby. Raye is about 45 pounds and good with cats. He came to the farm from a NY vet hospital where he had been abandoned. 

BAILEY knew he found his new home the first week he was living with his foster family - it just took the humans a little longer to figure it out!  Bailey will join other GHF alumni, Dart, Brit and Sashi for a lifetime of ball play, swimming, and beach fun.  He might even join Sashi in some fun sheep herding. Bailey now lives in NJ and will be adored and cherished for the work he does on the human heart for the rest of his life.

BAILEY, a 6 yr old liver/white purebred with papers, Bailey loves the ball. Anything round that rolls, soccer balls, tennis balls, jolly balls, unless there is a hose around, then the water becomes much more fun. Bailey is good with other dogs, but would be fine as an only dog in an active home. He's a great cuddler and is happy to be with his people. He is sporting a summer hair cut, so will be a stunning dog when his coat comes back in. He's good with dog savvy cats and is about 50lbs. He was reluctantly relinquished from a loving home in NJ. Bailey is being fostered in NJ and can be see at the Farm.

DRUE found his forever home with former adopters who wanted to add a young dog to their family and felt Drue would fit perfectly. He felt so too, and happily jumped into their laps for attention and into their hearts. He will have lots of acreage for exploring and play at the greenhouse where his furDad works, since the dogs join him each day. Drue now lives in NJ, forever adored.

DRUE: A 6 month old Border Collie, Drue is a wonderful, friendly, happy guy. He wants to be with you soon as he meets you and will happily jump up to say hi and give kisses. He is good natured and easy going, not showing herding tendencies. Drue is all puppy, full of play and happy to chase and wrestle with his new canine friends at the Farm. He wants to please and enjoys attention and love, a real cuddler. Drue would be happy with someone who adores him as well as a furry friend for burning off his energy. He is about 40 pounds and good with cats. He was relinquished from his NY guardian, part of an accidental litter. His Mom is Patti, also at the Farm. 

MURDOCH found his forever home with friends of the Farm who have another dog from us, Capp (on the right) who was a Photo Contest winner. They came to enjoy their winning getaway at the Farm and had Murdoch on their mind. Soon as they met him and experienced his sweet loving way, they knew he had a home with them in PA. Murdoch will have a blast as part of this trio, living with people who really understand the breed.

MURDOCH: A petite 8 month old Border Collie, Murdoch is a sweet young pup who loves to play and run. He is very gentle and good natured, happy to play and also happy to cuddle. He is great with other dogs and eager to learn. Murdoch is not showing strong herding tendencies and is very easy going. He loves to play with dogs so will be placed with another canine friend. He is about 30 pounds and not good with cats. Murdoch was given up from a guardian who was pregnant and could not devote time to him. She had adopted him from a shelter where he had been part of a group of dogs seized from a rescue shutting down. He came to the Farm from NY and is having a blast here. 

Sweet Cloey found her forever home with another Border Collie who likes to play and run but also loves attention and is sensitive and gentle, just like her. Her guardians were smitten with the pair and knew they'd be a perfect fit for their lives. Cloey now lives in New Jersey where she'll be adored and get to try agility, too.

CLOEY: A 9 month old Border Collie, Cloey is a love bug, a really sweet gentle girl. She carefully comes up for love and then once confident with you, she is all energy, racing and playing and thrilled to be with you. She is incredibly fast when she cuts around the fields and has bursts of energy like any young BC. Cloey is great with other dogs and would be best with a canine friend. She is very attentive, smart and focused and could easily do sports or enjoy being a companion with an active person or family. She is about 35 pounds and not yet tested on cats. She was surrendered to a NY shelter due to a divorce. 

DRUE found his forever home with former adopters who wanted to add a young dog to their family and felt Drue would fit perfectly. He felt so too, and happily jumped into their laps for attention and into their hearts. He will have lots of acreage for exploring and play at the greenhouse where his furDad works, since the dogs join him each day. Drue now lives in NJ, forever adored.

SHENAH found her forever home with a canine friend and her guardian who visited camp this summer.  She saw Shenah on the Farm website and instantly fell in love. She kept Shenah's picture on her fridge hoping for the chance to meet her. Her husband made her birthday wish come true with the message: "go meet that dog!!"  So, as they say, the rest is history. Shenah and her new friend, LuLu, are fast buddies, as if they lived together their whole lives. Shenah now lives in Ct and will enjoy a life of play and love and even agility!

SHENAH: A petite 10 month old Border Collie mix, Shenah is a gorgeous girl with a ton of personality. She actually smiles a full tooth grin when she's happy and she's pretty happy to see just about everyone. She is very friendly, good natured and wants to play. Shenah has the perfect build for a frisbee dog or agility dog, being very athletic and petite. She plays great with other dogs and a lot of energy to go, go, go but she also loves to cuddle. While she can be very active, she can also relax, happy to be loved and a very affectionate girl. She does love other dogs so would be happy with another friend for lots of play. Shenah is about 35 pounds and good with cats. She was rescued by a dog lover in NY but she felt she needed more than she could give so she came to the Farm. 

MURDOCH found his forever home with friends of the Farm who have another dog from us, Capp (on the right) who was a Photo Contest winner. MURDOCH: A petite 8 month old Border Collie, Murdoch is a sweet young pup who loves to play and run. He is very gentle and good natured, happy to play and also happy to cuddle. He is great with other dogs and eager to learn. Murdoch is not showing strong herding tendencies and is very easy going. He loves to play with dogs so will be placed with another canine friend. He is about 30 pounds and not good with cats. Murdoch was given up from a guardian who was pregnant and could not devote time to him. She had adopted him from a shelter where he had been part of a group of dogs seized from a rescue shutting down. He came to the Farm from NY and is having a blast here. 

Sweet Cloey found her forever home with another Border Collie who likes to play and run but also loves attention and is sensitive and gentle, just like her. Her guardians were smitten with the pair and knew they'd be a perfect fit for their lives. Cloey now lives in New Jersey where she'll be adored and get to try agility, too.

CLOEY: A 9 month old Border Collie, Cloey is a love bug, a really sweet gentle girl. She carefully comes up for love and then once confident with you, she is all energy, racing and playing and thrilled to be with you. She is incredibly fast when she cuts around the fields and has bursts of energy like any young BC. Cloey is great with other dogs and would be best with a canine friend. She is very attentive, smart and focused and could easily do sports or enjoy being a companion with an active person or family. She is about 35 pounds and not yet tested on cats. She was surrendered to a NY shelter due to a divorce. 

RAND found his forever home with the Farm's Caretaker, Susan, who brought him to her home to recover from his injury and found him to be the most delightful, wonderful, sweet Border Collie with the greatest heart, that she wanted to enjoy him forever. A very special dog found a very special person. He now lives with her pack of five!

RAND: A 1 1/2 year old Border Collie, Rand is wonderfully sweet and eager to be with you while also having classic border collie interest in herding and toys. He is ready to focus and move instantly, racing across the field for any toy. Rand is a gentle Border Collie who enjoys everyone he meets. He is good with other dogs though may be fine as the only dog if his person provided a lot of activities for his mind and body. Rand needs a place to use his brilliance. He is good with cats and about 45 pounds. Rand was surrendered from the NJ area where the people could not meet his needs. 

MANNY found his forever home as part of a canine trio which he loved, having roomed with two other dogs while at the Farm, so he was happy as could be. He walked the trails with his new family and overnighted in the RV, giving them all time to get to know each other before heading out to his new life in CT. His loving guardians were drawn to his sweet nature and understand the confidence building he will need to enjoy his new life. Manny found a wonderful loving home and will surely blossom further, never needing to worry again about surviving on the street.

MANNY: A 2 year old Border Collie, Manny is a loving, gentle, sweet guy who really wants to be with his person more than anything else. He is a wonderful companion who is eager to bond and share his affection with you. Manny also likes to play with other dogs and is interested in everyone. He is an active, young Border Collie but not hyperactive. He likes toys and anything related to interacting with a person. Manny is good natured and easy going, a real love bug. He is 40 pounds and can live with dog savvy cats since he does bark at them, obviously unsure of what they really are. Manny would benefit from training to build his confidence living in an active home. He can be a little shy at first. Manny was a stray in NJ.

Sweet Abie found her forever home not far from the Farm with a guardian who adores this breed having grown up with them. Her daughter adopted one from the Farm too which led her to visit and meet Abie. She had been hoping to add a pup to the family so as soon as Abie came to the Farm, she wanted to meet her. Abie will enjoy a wonderful life swimming at a nearby lake, exploring with her Border Collie friend and even canoeing! She'll be totally adored for the rest of her life. Abie lives in upstate NY and we'll get to see her as she matures!

ABIE: A 5 month old Border Collie, Abie is a smart, attentive young girl who is eager to please and also loves to play. She loves toys of any kind and will happily interact with anyone who wants to play with her. She learns easily and loves to play with other dogs, though she does best with more submissive Border Collies. She can be a bit timid at first with new dogs so would do best with one other young canine friend for play or with a person who is around all the time to play with her. Abie would do well in sports for fun since she is not showing high drive or herding tendencies that need to be channeled into activities. She is a sweetheart, a real cuddler who loves to be in your lap. Abie is about 25 pounds, typical in size for her age and good with cats. She came to the Farm from upstate NY from a guardian who felt she could not meet her needs though adored her completely. 

DUSTY found his forever home with former adopters who were camping at the Getaway camp, enjoying a retreat in the country. They came into the Barn for a tour and instead, fell in love with Dusty! They didn't expect to add to their pack, but they just couldn't leave without him. Dusty will have tons to do, balls, frisbee, all the good things that Border Collies love to do! Dusty now lives in PA with Jessie and Chase.

DUSTY: A 2 year old Border Collie, Dusty is a happy go lucky, good natured boy who loves to play, play, play. He is wonderful with people and happy to meet everyone, a very affectionate dog. Dusty is very very smart, athletic and eager to be involved with whatever is going on around him. He is great with other dogs and happy to join in canine games, too. He could easily live with other Border Collies or as a solo sport dog. He also loves the water. Dusty is OK with cats. He came to the Farm from a volunteer at a PA shelter who took him into her home after he bounced back to the shelter when they placed him with a 75 year old woman who could clearly not meet his needs. He was originally a stray at the shelter. He is about 40 pounds, typical in size for the breed and not yet tested on cats. 

FRAZIER found his forever home with loving guardians who were smitten with his good nature and playful attitude, ready to chase a ball or happy to be with them. He'll have a wonderful life enjoying his yard as well as trips to the lake for tons of canine fun. He loves people so quickly won their hearts. Frazier now lives in upstate NY not too far from the Farm. 

FRAZIER: A 4 1/2 year old Border Collie, Frazier is all about fun. He loves to hop and jump and race around with or without toys. He is quite a character, full of playful energy. He is very smart and responds instantly to being called, happy to be by your side. He is also very affectionate and loves to cuddle. Frazier is good natured and doesn't show much herding drive, just more play drive. He is fine with horses and cats and good with other dogs though could be content as the solo dog, too. Frazier loves car rides, too. He is about 40 lbs He was given up from a PA guardian who no time for him and had chained him outside, after rescuing him from a neglectful neighbor at 18 months. He is very adaptable and having a great time now at the Farm as if nothing in his history ever bothered him, truly a great temperament. 

TOREY found his forever home earlier than expected when a wonderful couple came to meet him. They had been drawn to him on the site and had an instant affinity toward him. With their skills in caring for feral cats and abused cats, as well as their own dog history, they had the perfect approach to gaining his trust. Torey was quickly comfortable with his new furDad and his wonderful good nature was obvious to both of them. Torey will need their patient approach to helping him step by step continue to believe that life is great. We are thrilled for him to have this new start and will be supporting him with funds for training. Torey headed out to PA for his new life with a great yard and a big home, both of which he'll get to use freely running around!

TOREY: A 3 year old Border Collie, Torey loves to cuddle and is one of the most affectionate dogs in rescue. He is also super smart, he learned his name in a day and comes instantly when called. He is very people oriented though loves his toys and happily races around with his squeaky toys. Torey is good with other dogs though would be happiest as a solo companion. He is about 35 pounds and good with cats. Torey had a rough life before coming to the Farm and is happy to be free to enjoy being a loved dog. He had been chained with a logging chain outside without food, water or a dog house. A caring dog lover stepped in to bring him shelter and finally convinced the people to give him up. He had originally been for the 12 year old girl who clearly loved him. However, when she left the house, the father taunted him and let other kids throw stones at him, causing him to be afraid of men and some kids. We are letting Torey heal that history and seeing him now as one happy Border Collie. He came to the Farm from PA. 

BRODIE found his home with his foster family who fell in love, tried to do the 'right' thing by bringing him to the Farm, then called and said, we're coming back to get him! Brodie will be doing agility and other sports as well as joining a canine family that he fit in with beautifully! He will be happily living in Vermont.

BRODIE: A 4 month old Border Collie, Brodie is a wonderful, attentive, smart Border Collie who learns easily. He is focused and agile, classic traits in the breed so could even be a sports candidate. He, of course, loves to cuddle and loves every person he meets. As with any young BC pup, he'll need a committed person to meet his needs since he is one high energy boy. Brodie is more petite than his brother, Bryson, who also came into rescue. Both came from Vermont where one of our volunteers pulled them out of bad situation to give them a better life. 

MOLY & TOBIE met at the Farm and became fast friends, playing, wrestling, really enjoying each other. Now, they'll have a wonderful life together forever and will enjoy the love and fun with their new guardians. This fabulous pair won the hearts of their new furMom and furDad since they're so friendly and sweet, plus each wanted something a little different and they got it... Tobie, the playful cuddler and Moly, the focused ball nut fit exactly what they wanted in their lives - two great dogs to enjoy forever. Tobie and Moly now live in upstate NY.

MOLY: A petite 6 month old Border Collie with ABCA papers, Moly is a love. She is happy to wrap herself around your neck for a nap and happy to cuddle anytime, jumping into your lap in an instant. Moly is also full of energy like any young BC and can race, chase and make up herding games, turning on a dime. She is focused and loves toys already, eager to play and eager to learn. She is good with other dogs and likes to play though already showing her strength as a female, like most, so would be best with submissive males. She is small so could be great in sports and is super agile, jumping all four feet off the ground. Moly is about 25 pounds and good with cats. She came from central NY when a border collie lover helped get her into rescue out of the wrong environment.
